The Dragon Slayer's Bookshelf

“Fairy tales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.”

I really liked Nail Gaiman's Coraline and now, we can see his personal library! I wish I had a library like that! *-*

When God Was a Rabbit

When God Was a Rabbit - Sarah Winman

I am not very good at writing reviews. It's basicaly because for me there is no use in description of the main character or story, but I think that the most important thing is expressing our feels. And this is exactly what I am going to do. But before I start, there is one last thing I'd like to write - I am very sorry for my bad language and volcabulary. As you can see, I am not a native speaker. I've study English language for seven years and it's not enough yet, so this is also the way how to improve it. Enjoy!

There are some stories what makes you cry, or maybe laugh, but most precious, for me, are stories that makes you feel something different, something new. This book is particular in many ways. It tels the story, but also reminds me of a gifts that only very special people has. It reminds me that if you are different, it doesn't mean you are bad. And I won't lie, I need to hear that.

“Nothing stays forgotten for long, Elly. Sometimes we simply have to remind the world that we're special and that we're still here.”

From time to time you find a book you've never read before, which is a rare thing, you know. There are so much similar books, one as a second, and you are wondering if there is a topic no one wrote so far. With all of these 50 Shades of Grey, Twiligt or Hinger Games like books, it's hard to discover something different.

“Memories no matter how small or inconsequential are the pages that define us.”

But I did it. I love these moments when you discover that the world can be simple. You can perceive it completely different and it's not wrong if you do. It makes these remarkable melancholic moments when you just sit in the middle of your room and think about your live, your goals and dreams. When you cry or smile just because you feel that it's right time to be sad or happy.

This book gives me a lot I can't describe very good, but I can try it. Finally, I really feel that I own my life and that it's mine life, not my parent's or friends' or anybody's, just mine. And I don't have to "stay in reality", I can feel it different way, life has so much forms to take and they are so much people to life. People are different. But everyone deserves to live.
